Tether, Kraken and Chainalysis Launch FASE Foundation With Stablecoin Aid Pilot

Tether launched the FASE Foundation with 11 stakeholders, outlining a stablecoin-aid pilot for up to 1 million people and anti-scam programs.

Tether, Kraken and Chainalysis Launch FASE Foundation With Stablecoin Aid Pilot

Announced by Tether on Oct. 28, 2026, the Financial Access and Systemic Empowerment (FASE) Foundation is a Swiss not-for-profit exploring, with Prosper Global, a stablecoin-based humanitarian-aid pilot that could reach up to 1 million people. It is also convening crypto and technology companies for digital-education and scam-prevention programs.

The pilot remains prospective: FASE has not disclosed when it would begin, its funding amount or how distributions would work, so the 1 million figure is a potential reach rather than an active aid-distribution total.

FASE launches as a Swiss not-for-profit

FASE was formed as a Swiss not-for-profit organization, according to Tether. The foundation’s stated mission combines financial-access efforts with programs to reduce scams and support vulnerable communities.

Its founding group is made up of Tether, Chainalysis, Payward, Anchorage Digital, Bitfury, Bybit, Fasanara Capital, Opera, Pave Bank, Prosper Global and Solana Foundation—the 11 stakeholders named in the announcement. Payward is identified there as Kraken’s partner company; Kraken itself is not listed as a founding stakeholder.

Companies in the group span stablecoins, blockchain analytics, exchanges, custody, banking, investment management and software. Separately, Tether identifies the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, or UNODC, as a strategic technical adviser, not as a founding stakeholder. The announcement does not specify the respective financial or operational commitments of the participants.

Prosper Global aid pilot has no delivery timetable

According to Tether’s announcement, FASE and Prosper Global plan to explore a stablecoin-based humanitarian-aid initiative, with an initial pilot that could reach up to 1 million people. The pilot is among FASE’s first announced programs.

Tether did not disclose a timeline, funding amount or delivery mechanism for the pilot.

Crypto Main News independently reported the foundation’s launch, its 11 founding stakeholders and the prospective 1 million-person aid target, while noting that available evidence does not establish that aid distributions have begun.

Goodwall program targets young people in three regions

FASE’s other announced program is a partnership with Goodwall focused on digital education and scam-prevention tools for up to 10 million young people. The program prioritizes Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia, three regions identified in Tether’s announcement.

That target is larger than the proposed aid pilot’s potential reach, although the programs have different purposes: one concerns prospective humanitarian assistance through stablecoins, while the other centers on education and scam prevention. The announcement did not provide a timetable or further implementation details for the Goodwall effort.

Together, the two programs position the foundation’s initial agenda around both practical financial-access experiments and digital-safety outreach. The next material milestone for the aid project will be whether FASE and Prosper Global disclose its funding, location, distribution design and start date.
