Cardano has completed its second Constitutional Committee election, filling four open seats with Philip DiSarro, Leandros BSP, Marek Mahut and Cardano Curia after an audited vote closed on July 23, 2026. The process involved 38 DReps representing 2.332 billion ADA in delegated voting power, according to Intersect.
DReps and stake-pool operators later ratified the 2026 committee update in Epoch 653, completing the replacement of the four outgoing seats, according to Cardano’s governance portal.
Audited election results
Intersect published its audited outcome on July 31, naming Philip DiSarro, Leandros BSP, Marek Mahut and Cardano Curia for the four open Constitutional Committee seats. The committee forms part of Cardano’s governance structure; this was the second election for those positions.
The Cardano Forum’s independent report confirmed the four successful candidates and their approximate voting totals, and said the election had concluded after the audited results were released.
What the audit established was the slate of candidates to be put forward—not an immediate on-chain committee change.
That change followed through the Update Constitutional Committee governance action and its subsequent ratification.
Thirty-eight DReps cast 2.332 billion ADA
The voting was concentrated among 38 participating DReps, collectively carrying 2.332 billion ADA of delegated voting power. DReps are representatives to whom ADA holders can delegate voting power in Cardano’s governance system.
DiSarro received approximately 1.979 billion ADA in support, the highest total among the elected candidates. Leandros BSP followed with about 1.965 billion ADA, while Mahut received roughly 1.370 billion ADA and Cardano Curia about 1.289 billion ADA, Intersect said.
Those figures show that all four successful candidates had support measured in more than 1 billion ADA, though the reported total delegated voting power is not a count of individual voters. The published data identifies the voting weight represented by the participating DReps, not the number of ADA holders behind each delegation.

Epoch 653 ratification replaces outgoing terms
An on-chain Update Constitutional Committee action assigned the four elected members to replace committee seats whose existing terms expire at Epoch 653.
Cardano’s governance portal records that DReps and stake-pool operators approved the committee update in Epoch 653. It describes the action as completing the filling of all four committee seats.
The governance action is distinct from the candidate election: it is the recorded mechanism through which the expiring positions were replaced.
New terms run through Epoch 799
Each incoming member has a 146-epoch term under the approved committee update. The terms are scheduled to end at Epoch 799, according to the governance action.
The shared endpoint gives DiSarro, Leandros BSP, Mahut and Cardano Curia the same mandate length, despite the differing levels of ADA voting power reported in the election. Their appointment follows the expiration at Epoch 653 of the four seats they replace.
