Stuck Deposit? What a Transaction ID Tells You Before You Contact Support

Crypto deposits leave a public receipt. Every transfer gets a transaction ID, also called a TXID or hash, and a block explorer turns that string into a page full of answers.

Stuck deposits usually explain themselves on that page. The status line, the confirmation count, the destination address, and the token contract usually point straight at the cause, often before support could reply.

Below: where to find a transaction ID, how to read an explorer page field by field, five common readings and what each one means, and what to send support once you know.

Where to Find the Transaction ID

Wallets show the ID in each transaction's details, usually as a long string of letters and numbers with a copy button. Exchanges list it in withdrawal history, sometimes only after the transfer leaves their system.

Paste the ID into the explorer for the network you used. Each chain has its own.

If one explorer comes up empty, try the explorer for the other chain you might have picked. If the transfer shows up on an unexpected chain, that answers the question at once.

Reading the Explorer Page, Field by Field

Status

Look for labels such as success, confirmed, failed or reverted, or a status that shows the transfer still in a queue. Queued transfers mean the network has yet to include the transfer in a block, while failed or reverted means it never moved the funds.

Confirmations

Explorers count the blocks added after the block that holds the transfer. Casinos credit a deposit after their own required number, so compare the count with the casino's figure.

To Address

Check that the destination address matches the deposit address in your casino account, character by character at the start and end. Any mismatch points to a copy error or an old address.

Token and Contract

For tokens such as USDT or USDC, the page names the token contract. Similar names can hide different tokens, such as native USDC and bridged USDC.e, and a casino may accept only one.

Amount and Fee

Compare the amount with the casino's minimum for that coin and network. The fee line also shows whether a low fee left the transfer in the queue.

Memo or Tag

Networks such as XRP and TON use a memo or tag to tell the casino which account a payment belongs to. Our guide to XRP tag rules explains why a payment without its tag can stay unclaimed.

What the explorer shows

Likely cause

Next step

Queued for a long time

Fee set too low for current demand

Wait, or speed it up in the wallet if it allows

Failed or reverted

Out of gas or a contract error

Funds stay in your wallet minus the fee, so resend

Success, few confirmations

Wait for the count, then refresh the balance

Success, right chain, balance unchanged

Amount below minimum, missing memo or unsupported token

Bitcoin wallets often offer replace-by-fee for a stuck transfer, while Ethereum wallets can resend with the same nonce and a higher fee. Our piece on network fees covers why fees swing between chains.

What to Send Support

Once the explorer page points to a cause, one message usually settles it. Include:

  • Transaction ID and a link to the explorer page

  • Network you used and the coin or token contract

  • Amount and timestamp with your time zone

  • Deposit address shown in your account at the time

  • Memo or tag, if the network uses one

Deposits at Dexsport

Dexsport accepts 56 assets across 26 networks, and its minimums apply per coin and per network, pegged to a US dollar value. Its Help Center also notes separate minimums for deposits straight from a Web3 wallet and for transfers into the internal wallet used by email and Telegram accounts.

Complaints and disputes go to [email protected], and the terms set a ten-day window to raise a claim after settlement. Report any suspected unauthorised use of an account within 24 hours. Dexsport answers to the Anjouan regulator through its operator, Dexapp LTD.

Conclusion

Transaction IDs turn a stuck deposit into a set of facts. Status shows whether the transfer moved, confirmations show whether the casino should have credited it, and the address, token, amount and memo fields reveal most other causes.

Read the page before you write to support, then send the ID, network, token, amount, time, address and memo in one message. That message usually settles the case sooner than any follow-up.
