Event Contracts Next to Match Odds: 4 Licensed Sportsbooks With Prediction Markets

Event contracts next to match odds: how to convert share prices into decimal odds, where prediction markets and sportsbook odds differ, and four licensed sportsbooks that offer both.

Event Contracts Next to Match Odds: 4 Licensed Sportsbooks With Prediction Markets

Picture a Champions League favourite priced at decimal odds of 4.00 on a sportsbook and at 25 cents a share on a prediction market. Both describe roughly the same 25% chance, yet the two formats price, settle and exit in different ways.

Licensed sportsbooks have started placing event contracts beside traditional odds. Some build their own prediction books, others plug into exchanges such as Polymarket or CME Group, and one keeps the product in a separate app.

Reading both prices side by side shows where each format offers better value and where the rules differ.

Converting a Share Price Into Odds

Prediction shares pay $1 when the outcome happens, so the price in cents works as an implied probability. Dividing 100 by the price gives the equivalent decimal odds before fees.

Where Contracts and Match Odds Differ

The two formats share a question yet follow separate mechanics. Five differences matter most for a bettor choosing between them.

4 Licensed Sportsbooks With Prediction Markets

Order weighs how closely each platform places event contracts beside its match odds, the range of prediction categories and the transparency of resolution rules. Each entry notes one point worth checking.

1. Dexsport

Dexsport prices its event contracts itself, so a Champions League question and the matching 1X2 line both come from one operator, a click apart. Its September 2026 launch added questions on sport, crypto, the economy and politics, some lasting minutes and others open until 2028.

Every trade settles in stablecoins. Opposing Yes and No quotes in a sample added up to roughly 101 to 102 cents, a cost worth setting against the sportsbook margin on the same outcome. Dexapp LTD holds an Anjouan licence.

2. BC.Game

BC.Game mirrors Polymarket prices inside its own site, which lets a player hold a sports bet and an event contract on the same question from one balance. Its mid-2026 Prediction Center focuses on sport, the leading crypto coins and headline world events.

Since quotes follow Polymarket, players can check a BC.Game price against the original exchange to spot any added margin. Access depends on the player's country, and the operator works under an Anjouan licence.

3. Roobet

Roobet added a Polymarket-backed Predictions tab in spring 2026, and outcomes resolve through Polymarket's oracle process. Categories range from sport and politics to earnings and culture, and each market lets a trader buy or sell from the same screen.

Roobet's sportsbook and predictions share one bankroll, though trading volume belongs to the wider Polymarket pool. US residents cannot use the predictions product, and Raw Entertainment B.V. operates Roobet under a Curaçao licence.

4. FanDuel

FanDuel, a state-licensed US sportsbook, offers FanDuel Predicts as a separate app with CME Group, regulated at federal level by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Launched in December 2025, the app reached all 50 states by January 2026.

Sports contracts appear only in states where FanDuel does not operate its sportsbook, covering leagues such as the NFL, NBA and NHL. Contracts start at one cent, and the product uses conventional payments with crypto outside its scope.

Two Prices for One Question

Event contracts and match odds can disagree on the same outcome, especially in thin markets or right after news breaks. One quick check of both before staking shows which venue offers the stronger price at that moment.

Resolution rules deserve equal attention. Sportsbook bets settle under published betting rules, while each prediction market names its own source and deadline, and those definitions can differ on details such as extra time or player eligibility. Our comparison of prediction platforms shows how resolution approaches vary across the field.

Market depth affects both formats. Thin prediction markets can move sharply on modest trades, and our look at market depth explains how sportsbook liquidity behaves around big matches.

Conclusion

Prediction shares and match odds describe the same chances in different formats: cents per share on one side, decimal odds on the other. Dividing 100 by the share price converts one into the other before fees.

Dexsport opens this ranking with event contracts priced by the same operator as its match odds, followed by BC.Game and Roobet with Polymarket-powered markets and FanDuel with a separate federally regulated app. Pricing, margins, exits and settlement rules all differ between formats.
